Fundraising Events For Teens
Young Life Coupon Cards ($20/card)
We have created 500 coupon cards by partnering with local businesses that can be sold for $20/card. All the money from these sales will go directly towards each teens camp cost. This fundraiser is an awesome fundraiser that can help you earn money towards camp pretty quickly. Each teen can start with 5 coupon cards, once they sell all 5 and bring the money back they will be able to get more. Reach out to TJ to get your first five cards.
May Long Weekend at RRC (Roughly $150-200)
A classic fun time, with a decent reward. We will be spending the weekend serving in various ways at RockRidge Canyon. Tasks range from dishes, serving food and some house keeping chores. We will take off on the Friday after school and arrive back in Golden after supper time on the Monday. Currently we are in need of 20 helpers, including a few parents who would be willing to drive there and back. May 17th-20th
July 1st - Canada Day Fair ($75)
The Golden Museum is in need of help running some games for kids during the Canada Day festivities this year and has asked us to help. We are in need of 5 teens to help with the events from 12:45pm-1:15pm. Please reach out to TJ if you are able to helpout with this!
Envelope Fundraiser (Up to $325)
We have a fun and productive fundraising opportunity for anyone signed up to go to RockRidge Camps. Bring the fundraiser sheet and an envelope for collecting around to your friends, family, teachers, neighbours, and anyone else you think might be interested in donating towards your camp fund! Each student will perform tasks and activities of the donor’s choice for a donation between $1-$25. Once they’ve completed one task for each dollar amount, they’ll have raised $325.
Toonie Sheet (Up to $100)
This one is a fun and easy way to get $100 towards your camp fee. All you have to do is get someone to sign the sheet beside the reasoning of why you deserve a toonie. In return, they give you a toonie and it goes towards camp. We recommend you cary a bag for the money when you do this one. Ask your friends, teachers, parents, family members or even Young Life leaders for a toonie! You will be surprised with how many people will help you with this one. Sometimes people will give you more than a toonie because there are too many good reasons to send you to camp.
At the moment we are currently trying to raise money for teens to go to camp this summer. If you have any yard work or possible events you would like help with at please let us know so we can line something up with you. In the mean time if you have any bottles you would like to donate please contact Tj to arrange for a pick up for them.
